How To Boil Eggs: Find Out The Answer
Boiling eggs is not as easy as it seems because you will not come to know the result of the process until you peel it open. It can become more complicated than you think what with different aspects influencing the final outcome. You may able to get the desired results with the help of the following steps.
Put the eggs in an empty pot gently. Cover them with an inch of water. Do not use cold water as it may take too much time to boil. Use fresh water at room temperature to boil your eggs you must know before doing it that how much salt does it take to float an egg.
Add a spoon full of vinegar or salt to the water as it prevents eggs from cracking. Put a lid on the pot and let the water boil. When it starts boiling immediately remove the pot from the heat source. This has to be done to so that the eggs are not over cooked. Keep the pot covered so that the water retains the heat.
You must let the eggs remain in the hot water for about 3 to 5 minutes to get soft boiled eggs. These eggs are barely cooked, liquid in nature and you will have to use a spoon to get the milky contents out.
Keep the eggs for 5 to 6 minutes and you will have mollet eggs. In these eggs yolk is semi-liquid but have firm enough outer white and the shell can be peeled without much difficulty.
For hard boiled eggs you keep them for 10 to 15 minutes in the hot water. Before doing it you must know How to Boil Eggs? If you keep them for 10 minutes you will get darkish yellow and pasty yolk, if done for 15 minutes the yolk will get granular, light yellow and dry yolk.
When you take the eggs out of the pot you should cool them immediately so the process of cooking is halted. Replace the hot water with cold water. Peeling the eggs under running water will help you separate the shell easily.
